Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
Ignite Ticketing (the “App”) is provided by Ignite Entrepreneurs (“we”, “us”, “our”). The App is a private support and messaging tool for Ignite Entrepreneurs members and their affiliated businesses. Contact us at support@ignite-entrepreneurs.com.
2. What data we collect
We collect only what the App needs to function:
- Account data: your email address, name, avatar (if you provide one), and a unique user identifier.
- Sign-in data: when you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive the email address and name released by that provider.
- Ticket & message content: the tickets, replies, mentions, and attachments you create in the App.
- Photos & camera: photos you choose to attach to a ticket. The App never accesses your camera or library without your explicit action.
- Push notification token: a device identifier used solely to deliver ticket and channel notifications.
- Basic diagnostics: crash and performance data used to keep the App stable.
3. How we use your data
- To authenticate you and keep your session secure.
- To show you the businesses, channels, and tickets you belong to.
- To deliver push notifications for replies and mentions.
- To respond to your support requests.
- To detect abuse and keep the service reliable.
We do not use your data for advertising, we do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites, and we do not sell your personal data.
4. Legal basis for processing
United States: Ignite Entrepreneurs is based in New York, U.S.A. and we process your personal data to provide and secure the App under the contract you enter into by using it, and based on your consent for optional device permissions such as camera, photos, and push notifications.
EEA, UK, and Switzerland: if you access the App from these regions, our legal bases under the GDPR are (a) performance of our contract with you, (b) our legitimate interest in operating and securing the service, and (c) your consent for optional device permissions.
5. Who we share data with
We share limited data only with service providers that help us run the App:
- Supabase — authentication, database, and file storage.
- Apple Push Notification service (APNs) — delivery of iOS notifications.
- Apple & Google — identity providers you use to sign in.
- Resend — transactional email (invites, password resets, notifications).
Each provider is bound by contract to use your data only for the purposes we instruct. We may also disclose data if required by law or to protect our rights and users.
6. Where your data is stored
Data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure primarily in the United States. If you access the App from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S. For transfers from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we and our providers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. How long we keep data
We keep your account and ticket data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal profile and unlink your content within 30 days, except where we are required to retain records for legal or audit reasons (typically no longer than 12 months).
8. Your rights
You can, at any time:
- Access, correct, or export your data.
- Delete your account from the Profile screen in the App — this permanently removes your personal profile.
- Withdraw device permissions in your iOS settings.
- Opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information — we do neither, so there is nothing to opt out of, but you can confirm this at any time by emailing us.
- Contact us at support@ignite-entrepreneurs.com for any privacy request. California residents have specific rights under the CCPA/CPRA (access, deletion, correction, non-discrimination); EEA/UK residents may also lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority.
9. Security
The App uses HTTPS for all network traffic, hashed authentication tokens, and row-level access controls in the database. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong password and keep your device up to date.
10. Children
Ignite Ticketing is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the App or by email. The effective date at the top always reflects the current version.
